Federal 209 Shotshell Primers
When it comes to affordability and dependability, Federal’s Champion primers are the best choice. These products allow you to shoot all day and still have money to shoot again the next day. They’re ideal for both high-volume shooters and those learning how to reload.
Product Overview
Federal No. 209A Shotshell Primers are non-corrosive, all-weather primers that provide fast, consistent ignition in any shooting situation. Ideal for trap shooting, hunting, or shooting with your favorite muzzleloader. Consistent quality is the name of the game for all Federal products.
In muzzleloading, ignition is everything. That’s why Federal Premium® created the 209 Muzzleloading Primer to go along with B.O.R. Lock MZ® bullets. The formulation provides superior moisture resistance as well as hot, consistent ignition of both granulated powder and pellets in any conditions. The design eliminates the excessive breech fouling that is common with standard shotshell primers.

I use it for my 37mm and 40mm shells for Goex Fg, Triple Seven FFg, or Trail Boss smokeless, ALWAYS flawless ignition. It’s absurd how hot these are. Great for any special projects you have 😉

Great product but you’ve been out of primers, bullets, brass, and powder for months now. What gives? I’m not believing hoarding caused this because there hasn’t been any at all. None of the stores have replenished shelves. Politically motivated? Supply & demand is different than not producing a product to create a deficiency
