Alliant Clay Dot Powder

Alliant logo

Every bottle of Alliant Smokeless Powder is guaranteed by a century of manufacturing experience and the industry’s most stringent quality control systems. To maintain uniformity, the chemical composition, grain shape and size, and overall density are continually verified and evaluated in a ballistics lab.

Clay Dot Powder is a shotshell powder designed for competition shooters that is operationally and technically equivalent to competitive shotshell powders but at a lower price. Designed to replicate the performance of Hodgdon Clays at a lower cost. To produce similar velocities and pressures, this American-made powder meters the same through reloading press powder bushings and performs with the exact same powder charge weights. There is no need to modify the bushings or the load data.

I haven’t used it yet but I noticed it is in a lot of my load manuals for some loads I want to use.
