Hodgdon H380 Powder

When Bruce “B.E.” Hodgdon first employed it, it was an unnamed spherical rifle propellant. When he discovered that a 38.0 grain charge behind a 52 grain bullet produced one hole groups from his 22-caliber wildcat (now known as the 22-250), he christened the powder H380. H380 also performs admirably in the 220 Swift, 243, 257 Roberts, and other good varmint cartridges.
