Midsouth is proud to offer Shooters World Heavy Pistol Smokeless Powder in 1 lbs canisters. Heavy Pistol is formulated for use in a wide variety of magnum handgun calibers, as well as supersonic .300 Blackout loads. Heavy Pistol is a canister form of Lovex bulk propellant D037-02 and has a similar burn rate to Accurate No. 9. A high density, double base, flash suppressed propellant, it does not require a full case to ignite well, nor does it demand magnum pistol primers for superior ignition.

Shooters World Heavy Pistol Smokeless Powder is a very clean burning magnum handgun type powder. Heavy Pistol has a low muzzle flash signature and works equally well with both jacketed and non-jacketed bullets. Though normally associated with magnum calibers, Heavy Pistol can also be used to load reduced power loads effectively as well.

Shooters World Heavy Pistol D037-02 Smokeless Gun Powder

This propellant is a bulk form of Lovex D037.2 reloading propellant. It is similar in burn speed to Accurate No. 9. The gas generation rate is appropriate for cartridges of the magnum pistol family and the .300 AAC Blackout, supersonic with light bullets. It does contain a level of flash suppression, incorporated into the propellant. A spherical propellant, it meters through charge plates consistently and will work with high-speed loaders with very good flow. This propellant is bracketed on the fast side by D037-01 (similar to Accurate No 7), and on the slow side by D063-01 (faster in burn speed than Accurate 1680).
